And as a corollary, it would be really nice if reviewers didn’t keep calling adult books written by women YA. I lost count of the times NETTLE & BONE got described as YA. The heroine is THIRTY. I wrote it for adults! It is fine if teens want to read it, but it’s not YA and that is FINE.

Re: Morality systems in video games. The problem with these systems is that they're rarely put in conflict with other player goals (often because the story is railroaded). So it just becomes a numeric value that can be trivially optimized to a desired result.
