Maybe let's not headline the story like this until it's clear he has left the role. He's denied being in charge of DOGE since the beginning, despite absolutely being in charge. Crime bosses don't stop being in charge because they're inside, and Musk doesn't stop running DOGE because he's in Texas.

When reading Berenstain Bears books to my kids I do voices for each of the characters. I use my natural voice for Brother Bear, and a much deeper voice for Papa. Last night I stopped to think - what does that say about me? I'm sure Freud would have thoughts.
