14 yr old son -" I was hanging out at Grandma's house yesterday and we were watching TV. Something came on about Trump and Grandma starting saying something about illegal"aliens". I told her "Grandma, they're not aliens, they're people." By the things she said after, I knew I should stop talking."

Talking with my 8th grader about current events yesterday. At the end, I told him not to worry because his dad and I would make sure that we would be okay. He looks up and says "I'm not worried." Me-" Oh yeah?" Him-"Well...yeah. You're a resourcful badass of a mom." Me-... "Thanks. I think."
