World hunger could be solved for $40 Billion a year.

Thank you for all who came to Fierté des Neiges this week in Montréal.

The gay urge to f*ck your friends, date your friends, or platonically appreciate them runs deep. 🏳️‍🌈

Why does anyone like Doug Ford if they aren't one of his rich friends? Honest question.

I think the self-help motto to cut off people who don't give to you the way you give to them is fundamentally flawed. Living in a community means there are sometimes unequal relations. It means being there and giving what you can, which may be fundamentally different levels of ability, access, & $.

As much as traveling this country is a great pleasure of mine meeting advocates coast to coast to coast. I am always happy to come back to the city I made my home. I 💗 Toronto.

Morning Bluesky 🌄

When you compliment a t girl's face card and then she tells you she thinks you're beautiful 😳

I got called LGBT Oprah today. 🤣

Keith Haring died of AIDS aged 31 on 16 Feb 1990. One of his last works, Unfinished Painting, was deliberately incomplete, reflecting the devastating, unquantifiable loss to the arts due to AIDS. #LGBTplusHistoryMonth

Trans people quote reskeet with a pic of you that you love!

I just signed a petition: Investigate X and Elon Musk for election interference. Sign here: leadnow.ca/campaigns/el...

Today is Canada’s flag day. As much as I hate nationalism. I am grateful to see Canada united against the hateful Trump administration

Today is Pink Triangle Day. We need to remember the history of the pink triangle especially in these times.

I love lesbians. Nobody gets things done as well as lesbians. 🧡🤍💗

I didn't think I'd have to defend Canadian sovereignty in my lifetime, but here we are.

Research the history of the creation of the Geneva Conventions and then talk to me.

"We must always take sides. Neutrality helps the oppressor, never the victim. Silence encourages the tormentor, never the tormented. Sometimes we must interfere." - Elie Wiesel, Holocaust survivor and Nobel Peace Prize Winner

If you are LGB and blame trans people for what is happening. Not only are you a fool, but you are ignorant of queer history. Trans people have been on the forefront of every fight for gay rights.

The Trump Tarrifs have created a renewed sense of Canadian patriotism that I have not seen in some time. Buy Canadian, Buy local, and buy from queer, Indigenous, Black, and migrant businesses. 🇨🇦🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

Momentum has started a petition for Canada to delist the USA from being a "safe country" for refugees

New dress. Thoughts?

Every cis bisexual who talks about erasure better be fighting like hell for trans folks right now

This is very dangerous.

Techbros fantasize about "transhumanism", transsexual people are actually doing it.

Every day reading the stories from the US is a nightmare. So what American doll am I marrying?

On the good trans news front. The anti-trans youth changes to Policy 713 in New Brunswick have been revoked. This led to the ending of the lawsuit against the government of New Brunswick. Though a small victory, it means a lot to trans and gender diverse youth in New Brunswick schools.

February 27th is the Ontario election officially. Ford has one of the worst track records on education, healthcare, environment, and has a hatred for public spaces like the science center and Ontario place. No more destruction of our social systems during an affordability crisis.

My current read: Queer Mythology This book brings together 20 stories from around the world of queerness in myth and legend. A reminder that we have and will always be here.

I talk about trans issues because that is where I best have a voice and impact. I can also care about other activist issues even if I don't focus on them. Yet I can work in solidarity on causes I don't always focus on.

Hey Ontario, if you care about healthcare, education, environment, transportation or just hate corruption then... VOTE HIM OUT!

Last week I went to the Museum of Illusions with this cutie. Which was fun, but it is a bit overrated.

India: More than 3,000 trans persons, most of them abandoned by their families, are residing in the akhara and taking part in the sacred bathing ritual at the Sangam. www.cnbctv18.com/ind... www.rediff.com/news/... #transgender #trans #LGBTQ #LGBTQIA

Okay, here’s the deal: RIGHT NOW is the time for concrete, direct action. If you’re following me, it’s probably because you care about trans art and trans literature. The article below lays out my suggestions for dozens of concrete actions you can take to preemptively combat literary censorship.

Trump yesterday signed an executive order trying to legislate trans people out of existence...

When people tell you who they are.. believe them. That includes n@zi salutes.

Sending love to the American trans people for a government that actively wants to erase us from existence.

Is DEI dead in the age of Trump?

When I was a teen coming out as trans I never thought I'd see my late 30s. I was always told most trans women would be dead by 35. Our community is still at much higher risk (especially Black, Indigenous, and sex worker trans women), however surviving and thriving is possible.

Seeing Canadians complicit in Trumps plans should worry Canadians as to the direction of this country.

Yes it is a good thing. Bye bye bye Autism Speaks 👋

I am not surprised to see all these companies dropping DEI or 2SLGBTQIA+ inclusion as someone who works in the space. Often these efforts came about due to performativity or mid level staff who wanted to make positive change. Leadership is still the same people who don't care about anyone else.

At least we have humour as we see the rise of fascism.
