All of Europe, the U.K., Australia and Canada will have to steel their backs and join the Ukrainians who have been fighting Putin on their own for three years. Otherwise they are all ceding control of their own destinies. No chatter with the Americans who cannot be trusted.

How is Donald’s extortion attempts any different than a thug demanding a family man pay him a percentage of his wages to keep his family alive?

Donald Trump has not only sullied the office of the Presidency, he has sullied the reputation of the United States. He is attempting to extort a sovereign country to hand over their sovereign rights to their own natural resources to a conman.

Donald failed to mention in a recent musings that Canada, along with Japan and South Korea, sit at the top worldwide in education.Canada is first in the world in higher education rankings. When a country truly cares about the health of their education system all people have incredible opportunities.

Similarly, Canada will not allow their natural resources to be a bargaining chip for a corrupt, criminal leader of a neighbouring country. We are all for 50% tariffs on American products entering Canada. Watch who blinks first.

Ukraine is a sovereign country. The Criminal in chief cannot bargain with their natural resources. Russia leaves, Ukraine maintains it’s borders and control of all of their natural resources period.

I think that Donald is so consumed with the fact that American’s didn’t vote for him in 2020 that he is willing to bring the U.S. down. I really believe that.

How spineless are all Republican’s in the House and Senate? Who knew how craven they would turn out to be? ‘this is how democracy ends, not with a bang but a whimper’.

While California burns, Donald is planning a Louis XIV style inauguration, full of excesses and sycophants. Hope everyone spends time with their families instead of giving Donald bragging rights about the number of viewers.

I prefer Trudeau’s quiet, diplomatic strength to Poilievre’s angry blustering which connotes weakness. I agree with Trudeau that Poilievre’s policies are not in Canada’s interests. In fact, he would be better suited as a fawning member of Trump’s cabinet.
