Removing the elected Ukrainian govt and installing a Russian puppet has been Putin’s goal since the beginning. Trump and Musk are trying to help Putin win, getting Russia what the Russian military failed to take. Plus both have personal grudges against Zelensky. Smearing him is in line with those.
