As a music listener, I want to press play on a purchased track in Apple music that says “downloaded”, so that I can…successfully listen to the song I had purchased and downloaded. Apple music management just keeps getting more and more terrible. I just want to play the tracks I own.

@kairyssdal.bsky.social really appreciate this series and in particular this statement.

I’m visiting a relative who is battling a health issue. She has cable tv, which I haven’t watched or had access to in 20 years and there it is: a commercial with Tony Hawk peddling a supplement to combat the side effects of that statins he is on.

@lestrrat.bsky.social Happy New Year my friend!

Beautiful day spent outside with my family.

I fell asleep in a bad mood on the couch and woke up at about 2 am. I just spent the last couple of hours listening to the latest The Talk Show episode with Kagi founder/CEO Vlad Prelovac. Kagi has been rock solid for me and this episode confirmed a lot of my assumptions on their product approach.

Greetings from central Nebraska in December.

Decided to start watching one Bruce Willis movie every night through the new year. Starting off tonight with “The Jackal” (1997). Saving Hudson Hawk (one of my top 10 all time favorite movies) for the turn of the new year.
