DuPage Dems Chair here… we’re leading in 48 of 49 partisan races and only down in the one by 35 votes. Several of our townships have never had an elected Dem, and it’s sweep after sweep tonight.

My hometown of Waterloo, Iowa canceled its African American Read-In after Trump’s anti-diversity directives. So i got together some writer friends and I’m holding it instead.

Last night MSNBC’s Lawrence O’Donnell said Trump was the first U.S. president to “switch sides during a war.” That aptly describes Trump’s betrayal but it can’t begin to convey the depravity of what Trump did in throwing our ally overboard and lying about every facet of Putin’s criminal aggression.

Wray stepping down before his 10-year term expires undermines the Congressional determination that an FBI Director shd serve 10 years and that the position is supposed to be above politics. It is abnormal - and antithetical to that goal - for a new Director to be appointed by an incoming President.
