Tom Sawyer Island dirt I collected from the river bank near Fort Wilderness before the place was "piratetized." It was my last visit knowing I wouldn’t want to see the changes either close-up or from across the river. I’m left with many good memories—mostly of the blissful refuge found there.

Talking to my mom tonight about the business. Pretty freaking bleak. Tariffs ect forced them to raise prices a lot to even make a profit and it’s hitting customers hard. Nuclear winter economy is not going to be good y’all.

Original painting from the MGM Studios, Culver City, Prop Department. Was sold at the studio’s massive auction back in the mid 70s. Purchased it with full documentation at a relatively low price a few years back. Keep your eyes open when watching vintage MGM films/TV. If you see it, pls let me know!

In middle of doing a vocal-music sep on 20K. At part where Aronnax asks Nemo if cigar he’s smoking is Havana. Nemo: “Seaweed.” Sec later I hear, “Uh-huh?” I think, “Was that a crew member?” I rewind and listen again. Same thing, but this time I realize it’s Siri on my phone responding to “Seaweed” 😂

Both. Was rude to armless smelly man sitting next to me at PRICE IS RIGHT. He just wanted to talk…probably a vet. My name was called. Kept losing til I started using prices he was yelling. Met up after show. Said I wanted to split my winnings with him. He said, “No Jim, watching you win was enough.”
