Got the old Nokona back from a conditioning with @djgloverepair.bsky.social yesterday and it looks great. Already had it out for a couple rounds of catch in the beautiful weather. Love this 30 year old hunk of leather. Thanks Jimmy!

Finally got around to uploading some 20 year old tapes and caught a shout out for “handling all the merchandise” at the start of Purple Rain and suddenly I’m 22 again. That’s how it works right? Looking forward to seeing Martin in town in a couple months…

I installed Napster on a high school computer in 1999 to take advantage of the T1 line vs. dial up at home. Had my school computer account “suspended,” but the school’s IT guy didn’t actually know how to do it, so I never actually lost access.

I’m so tired of the constant state of shock everyone is in over whatever the latest Trump/Musk horror is thrust upon us each day. This is all exactly what they said they’d do. This is what a majority of the country voted for. The lack of planning and leadership to defend against it is real issue now

Running into The General from the insurance ads at the bar. We exchanged a friendly nod—yes, I recognized him, but I wasn't going to make a deal out of it—and he said "don't worry, I'm off duty." Then he said something about "party supplies" and I ignored it and just said "have a great night sir."
