Devastating. 😭

This trend of reviewers calling out AI needs to be encouraged and celebrated. Gold star for this review. Also, the comment make me lol

This shattered me 😭 Justice for Tiny Chef!!!

My goodreads feed is full of reviewers calling out AI dross. Fucking heroes.

Ahhh, this took me OVER AN HOUR because I had to cross reference everyone with the first list to make sure I wasn't adding anyone twice LMFAO. (I need a taco right now so bad, you guys have no idea.) Behold, Groovy List 2: go.bsky.app/3CiACsV 📚💙

Reached the point where I have a novella finished and ready to publish... But cant afford to commission my cover artist... The struggle is real. #WritingCommunity

In case anyone’s curious, that one 99c ebook you bought is 1/3 of a coffee for you and 100% a day made for an author. It truly does mean the world to us, no matter how small the sale. Just knowing our words are out there being read is an amazing feeling. Thank you, dear readers 🫶

Doesn't need the 'unpopular opinion' part.

After conquering Shakespeare’s plays, I took on his poetry—and, boy, was I in for a ride. Venus & Adonis turned up the heat (uncomfortably so) and Lucrece? A hard read. Was his poetry truly great, or was I just forcing it? Let’s talk #ShakespeareChallenge buff.ly/40dmYcw

A question for the #writingcommunity. How do you determine the price of your books? Mine are currently £1.99 ($2.99) and £2.99 ($3.99), but I'm seeing some for sale at £4.99 ($5.99). Have I priced mine too low?

I wish I could like this more than once.

I have come to the conclusion that I cannot compete with AI. It takes me a whole year to write what an AI can do in five minutes.

My toxic trait is, whenever I see someone saying something negative about a book they're reading, I think they're talking about my book when I know, in my heart of hearts, no one is reading my book. #writingcommunity

Yes

Another reason so many authors on your feed are furious about that A.I. generated summer reading article, is that in a media landscape where coverage for books is shrinking absolutely everywhere… this is what we get.

I believe it started around 2019...

Ah. So this is what a midlife crisis feels like...

Feed an author, leave a review! Please, I implore you, dear readers, leave reviews for the books you've read, esp. for those that don't already have 1k+ reviews on Amazon. Most authors will be forever grateful if you do, even if it's a not so great one (just don't tag them in that case, be nice).

Let's normalise this
