If you live in the United States, you are in greater jeopardy today than you were six months ago. So is your family. So are your friends and neighbors. https://trib.al/nzgEHm8

North Carolina’s Lawrence Academy has never reported Black enrollment higher than 3% in a county whose population hovers around 60% Black. It received $518,240 in vouchers in the 2023-2024 school year to fund 86 of its over 200 students. (Published Nov. 2024)

Because Black people know that there is no such thing as “identification” or “identifying yourself”. They aren’t saying Padilla didn’t identify himself as a U.S. Senator. They are saying that there is only one acceptable identity — credential — being white and, in these times, being pro-Trump.

Senior officers of the United States military have an obligation to speak up and be leaders. Where is the Army chief of staff? Will he or others speak truth to the commander in chief and put a stop to the assault on the integrity of his troops? www.theatlantic.com/ideas/archiv...

This is 🏆 “The problem with speaking up for each other is that everyone is left without a voice.” What I heard here: the struggles of the oppressed are only taken seriously or heard through the voices of their oppressors.

I'm never going to let this go: www.thenation.com/article/soci... - EVER

Federal data is an invaluable national asset and economy driver. But for Trump & Co., it's "woke" and must disappear, or it's personal, private, and perfect for weaponization against people and groups they don't like. My latest at @thebulwark.com www.thebulwark.com/p/donald-tru...

🇯🇵 WATCH: “Their (tariffs) theory is a mess and there is no consistency. I hope you never give in to the American extortionists… if you give a mugger money, they’ll come back to mug us again. Watch the Roy Cohn documentary to understand Trump.” Yeah, Japan gets it.
