Should you refuse to show compassion because you believe it would make you appear weak, then you have misunderstood what strength is. It is honorable to have concern for others, to show empathy and to offer aid to someone in distress. To rebuke this is cowardice, not strength.

My players managed to break the seal on a frozen Witchlight Marauder Primary, and then hastened its thaw by freeing the qorrashi being used as a planar lens for Frostfell energies. Obviously this fight is beyond them but they've gathered a bunch of allies including said qorrashi, a quaggoth...

My fantasy magic pet peeve is using the suffix "-mancy" to mean "kind of magic." No, anything ending thus is divination, find a new suffix. (If anybody has suggestions, probably from Latin or Greek - necromancy came through both - then please reply with them)
