The funny thing about people using AI to write novels and then other people using AI to summarize them is that it removes the entire point of novels, which is the experience of reading them. "This book is about a short guy who finds a ring that makes him invisible." Wow, cool story, bro.

That I don't get to go back to pre-pandemic life. If my high-risk, disabled wife gets Covid, it could destroy her, and there's no magical timeline for that changing (especially now with vaccines being limited). We're basically stuck in 2021 until further notice.

I know the idea of calling reps is scary—I get sweaty about it, too, and I'm in a blue state—but in my experience, talking to staffers is no worse than ordering a pizza. Except in this case, you're ordering, say, health care and vaccine access so we don't all die of preventable causes. 5calls.org
