We just snuck our seder before Passover ended, but the food was first class. Cooked a flat iron instead of a full brisket and it was so much easier. So much tastier too.

Had a moment with Caddy this morning.

Saw a bunch of words bumper sticker on a car while driving today and the only word I saw at first was "cross". At the light, I pulled up behind and read : Some of those that burn crosses are the same that hold office. I've never said "fuck yeah" faster.

A chilling thread from Sen Murphy, but one we all must read. The Senator has seen through all the flurry of moves from this regime the entire time and in this thread articulates precisely what the motive, tactics, and remedy are to this regime's actions.

I have had the pleasure of watching Ovie play for my favorite team his whole career. So awesome to see him break the record and get the recognition he deserves as the greatest goal scorer of all time.

Ate this hanger steak tonight and life is good.

I just realized last night that the word "island" is a compound word.

This is the most in character post I've ever seen.

I really can't stand the weak ass Hurricanes.

Neuropeeps! Is there a list somewhere of the intramural neuroscience researchers @ NIH who have lost their jobs? If not, could you reply to this thread or hit me up on Signal (tverstynen.64) if you happen to know of specific people? Please boost if you don’t mind.

As always, listen to Bita.

Check out this ass pic.

Make him Minority Leader tomorrow!

Why is he playing tennis in hiking boots?

Just did a local NPR hit and started off talking about the work being funded by NIH and we all should support science. Use every platform.

So we're just DONE with the future of science.

If you need a break from doomscrolling, I've started a new blog at Psychology Today. In the first entry I talk about growing up raised by psychologists and how that affects me as a neuroscientist. Stuff I Heard Around the Dinner Table | Psychology Today www.psychologytoday.com/us/blog/a-ne...

On the ride in this morning this song came on. Gonna be a great day. www.youtube.com/watch?v=ux0i...
