One of the biggest problems with the world is that fools are always so sure and certain about everything and intelligent people are so full of doubts and uncertainties.

I'm happy to announce I made a Substack account! I haven't posted anything yet, but stay tuned as I will be releasing some poetry and possibly some short fiction over the coming weeks! 😊 #WritingCommunity

What owl?

I got a nice rejection letter with three typos for my sci-fi novella. I think I’m better off. 😉 #WritingCommunity

I told you we’d be back

I had a fun morning listening to music while assembling a new bookcase. It's giving my study a nice pine aroma. Now it's time to work on a few submissions! 🙂🌲 #WritingCommunity

Checked my garden to find the first rose of the season!

Submitted my two novels and novella to another literary agency this morning. ☺️ #WritingCommunity

My mom came across this article and I found it to be an interesting read. #Booksky www.ctvnews.ca/world/articl...

I've been doing some pondering and I guess it's time to start expanding my horizons and use some of these submission sites--otherwise, a lot of doors are closed. I also think I'm about ready to try emailing another agent about my two novels. Lots to keep me busy for a while! 🙂 #WritingCommunity

Glad I checked the mail today! I dunno why this free tote from THE NEW YORKER makes me so happy, but it does! 🦉 @newyorker.com #WritingCommunity

Happy to say I picked up four new books this morning to add to my reading pile. They’re all new authors to me and I don’t know what to expect, but I kinda like that at times. 🙂 #Booksky

At the end of every rainbow, there dances a Moonkin. #WorldofWarcraft

I was skeptical in the beginning, but I’m glad I bought this cooling pad for my laptop while gaming. I was worried my Moonkin’s feathers were eventually going to burst aflame, but it works really well and I recommend getting one if you’re worried about overheating. #WoW 🦉

I had a dream last night that I started using my old typewriter again. Seems like a fun idea. I just wish it didn’t sometimes skip an extra space after typing the A key. #WritingCommunity

Oop probably should post more than complaints here My chapbook about being outside(rs) has... so many fairytales! Astrophysics & quantum physics! Physics boyfriends! Bi awakenings! Immigrants! The invention of raccoons!

I’ve been feeling a little down for the past couple of days, but am feeling better after deciding to mail a quick submission down at the post office with a shivering happy head of excessive happiness. #WritingCommunity

Listening to my Gorillaz CDs while researching some writing contests this morning. "Glitter Freeze," "On Melancholy Hill," and "Dare" are favs of mine. 🎵 #WritingCommunity

OUR HERO, BALTHAZAR: I loved this movie, felt it was a real bolt of indie lightning. Stars Jaeden Martell. It made me think of MEAN STREETS.

Looking forward to mailing out a submission on Monday, and I think I’m going to research some writing contests next week. 🙂 #WritingCommunity

Behold: an absurdly simple trick for choosing between “who” and “whom.”

THE DEMON-HAUNTED WORLD, by Carl Sagan: I don’t know why it took me so long to get around to reading it, but I’m glad I did. One of the most important books out there. #Booksky #WritingCommunity

I enjoyed and recommend this little sci-fi story! #Booksky malarkeybooks.com/fiction/unil...

May this random photo of the time I met Michelangelo remind you to never give up on your dreams.

Stopped by the post office and mailed off my sci-fi novella, a short story, and six poems. Hopefully one of the three publishers takes a nibble. 🥕 #Booksky

My trip to the comic-book store today resulted in me bringing home ten new comics and a huge pack of one hundred backer boards. I like standing them up on my bookshelf so this should help with displaying them. #WritingCommunity 🙂

Fighting my OCD urges feels like wanting to hop out of my skin.

Readied my sci-fi novella to submit by mail to a good publisher tomorrow, and emailed another short story. Crazy how some magazines try to get you to create unnecessary accounts with third parties just to submit the odd story. I was directed to three separate ones this morning. No thanks. 😵‍💫

Printed out and packaged up two physical submissions (poems and a short story) to mail on Monday—just hoping Canada Post doesn’t strike. 😟 #amwriting

Elon Musk promised to slash the U.S. budget. But his actions may cost the government as much as $135 billion in this fiscal year alone, according to recent estimates.
