One criticism of Bluesky is that you have to click on someone and open their profile in order to block them.... My worry is that in addition to being inconvenient, by opening their profile in the first place it teaches the algorithm to show you more similar unwanted posts/users.

Bluesky really should be a verification tag/checkmark for public individuals so you can tell which accounts are authentic... ...I'm coming across many of what appear to be fan accounts of people who have not yet made the switch, taking the usernames of those they are impersonating
