A couple of days ago, I glanced at a headline on a local FL paper on the news stand at Publix on my way out. Headline was something about federal funding for housing in Palm Beach but I was in a hurry & now I can't find the story.

A day or two before I got the boot on X, I compared Amazon reviews of Melania's memoir released on Oct 1 to Ina Garten's memoir released on Oct 8. Almost exactly the same # of reviews & percentage of favorable ones plus I suspect word cloud was AI generated.

This is ridiculous. Melania's book dropped off the top 15 hardcover nonfiction bestseller list last week. This week it climbed to #5 while her book remained at #12 on the e-book nonfiction list. Bezos has a lot to answer for.

Out of curiosity, I looked up the names of the people who Barnes ratted out & who were subsequently indicted. One of them was a white guy from Merrick who was never arrested & lived in the DC area at one point. My first thought was he was on the payroll of a government agency.
