He is absolutely melting down. And all of it directed at Trump supporters. Wowie.

Nordstrom will become a private company after it agreed to a buyout deal valued at $6.25 billion from Nordstrom’s founding family and Mexican retailer El Puerto de Liverpool.

Closing Thoughts for 2024 My thoughts on a few companies as we close 2024 Palantir: Reflecting on my own experience, the seismic movement in Palantir's stock price YTD led me to sell my original cost-basis two years ago. This decision was not made lightly; it seemed reckless not to convert some…

Nvidia's dominance is reflected in the stock price. It's been an impressive 23 + 24!

President Trump at the NY Stock Exchange: "I think we are going to go much higher." "Mark Zuckerberg came over to see me last week. I see Elon Musk often. I'm seeing Jeff Bezos next week."

The hand-written notes on a Hond Civic in Bellevue, WA, that led to the bomb squad shutting down the east side of Crossroads Mall most of the day: "For Bill Gates. This is everything I had and still wasn't enough. Goodbye world!!"

Sell a small portion (whatever % you are comfortable with) of your stake and be patient and disciplined and wait for better opportunities. As they say, "cash is the blood of a portfolio."

Strong fundamental companies tend to rebound when the market retraces, but I am a realist. Realizing some long-term gains of 500-1,000% is prudent. By not cashing in, if the stock were to pull back, it would be like this rally never happened.

Is pltr stock overvalued? Obviously, yes. So why won't I liquidate my entire position? The company's fundamentals are solid in the long term. Actual long-term investors are contrarians; they hold during euphoria and hold during dysphoria.

Not a joke, Jim. It's not even day 1 yet.

It's hard to ever short googl. The business had hoards of cash, making them like a large bank. More importantly, they have a treasure trove of user data, which is equally as valuable. Betting against them or predicting their demise seems improbable.

The Trump administration will be much more volatile than Biden's. There will likely be better opportunities in the future. Build cash now or look into value - pfe, dvn, jnj just to name a few...

It is probably not the best time to buy stocks with insane P/E ratios—pltr, amd, or no P/E ratios—lmnd, afrm. Having extreme hopium and putting new money into overvalued companies, hoping they become even more overvalued, is not a good roi.

All the weak hands left the stock, and most retail left it for dead on 22/23. I haven't sold shares and have slowly (not enough) averaged down the past two years. As a customer and investor, I feel growth will excel while expenses will be controlled. I remain excited.

Overall, I was impressed with Lemonade Investor Day's confidence. Leadership seemed more "certain" rather than hopeful in 2022. lmnd Car alone could be worth double the entire business today. I expect a big nationwide rollout in the next two years.

JUST IN: California health officials are tapping into the state's pandemic stockpile in response to the recent cases of bird flu. Over 2 million pieces of personal protective equipment (PPE) have been distributed to farmworkers following confirmed human cases of the H5N1 avian influenza.
