This just might be one of the best comics I've ever read. So many characters with so many paths. Stories about family. Stories about what we are and what we're meant to be. Stories about Gods. What if you worshipped a Bible, carried it around with you, and years later finding out it had words

For tonight's reading I got caught up me Walking (fucking) Dead Deluxe edition. This series is an incredible soap opera that just happens to have zombies. This far into the series, it's more a wonder that they still have so much story to tell before the final issue (193)

For tonight's reading I cracked open a new Rick Remender series that seems promising. Light hearted, but also with a tinge of darkness. Looking forward to seeing where this series takes us

Today I caught up on Ice Cream Man, one of the best, most unique comics being printed today. This story is a collection of one pagers, with contributions from many famous authors including Grant Morrison and Matt Fraction. Ice Cream Man remains one of the only horror themed comics

Caught up on Immortal Thor tonight. Al Ewing continues to play the long game in this title, as we all wait to find out what exactly he's doing with this epic retelling/reinterpretation of Thor's history as a character. Don't get me wrong, I'm totally here for it, I'm just not entirely sure why.

The latest reading has had me diving into What's the Furthest Place From Here? and catching up on Absolute Wonder Woman. Both are incredible, and both deal with Gods. WtFPfH is like if The Warriors were actually cool, but also like wicked super fucked. Like I'm 6 issues in and

For tonight's reading I got caught up on two favorites as well as started two new ones. Both Power Fantasy and Nice House are two of the best written comics coming out right now IMHO. Whats funny is they're both kind of about saving/controlling the world, but from two completely different angles.

For tonight's reading I dug into Dave Sim's first volume of Cerebus. Read about 9 issues. What starts as a derivative or satire of Conan, by the end of issue 9 now has started to take on its own shape and form. Though how Sim presents Cerebus in these first few issues very much reads like the

For tonight's reading I caught up some subs I've been neglecting, only to wonder why I've been waiting to read these. The Ultimates continues to be my favorite in the new Ultimate universe, but I also haven't read Ultimate Wolverine yet, so that could change, though I doubt it. Every issue of

Tonight's reading was Redcoat #8, where we see Simon Pure die and come back to life yet again. I mean, it's kind of his thing I guess
