Farsi is such an elegant script... had 6 poems printed in a Farsi/English book and though I like my own poetry it just looks so much more erudite in Farsi :D

I've had several people following me but I can't read the language, Farsi I think... I noticed a 'translate this page' icon before but it didn't work for me and now it's gone. #cooking So I got the cheesecake out of the springform pan and, well shit, it looks good but the graham cracker base is too thick... could have done with being half that thickness. 1 cup of crumbs would have done rather than the 1.5 stated in Paul Hollywood's recipe 😒 Just as well I like a crust!

#baking, #cooking House smells fab 😍 getting some baking done today for T.G. Got the dressing done & baked 2 sweet potato pies. Tomorrow it's the turkey, NY style cheesecake, and cornbread. The rest I'll do Thursday morning. Will chantilly cream last ok till Thursday if I made it today&refrigerated?

#knitting, #crafts, #crochet lousy at remembering to take photos before I gift them, I've made several blankets of knitted/crocheted squares. I like to line them so I thrift shop for nice sheets and stitch them securely in place then edge them with blanket ribbon... make great throws and snugglies.
