Caught a mouse in one of my live traps this morning-first one since becoming cat-less a month ago. Started to talk to it just like I'd talk to Buddy. I don't think he appreciated the car ride to the park but he sure was relieved when so let him go.

I really miss the small, everyday mundane moments. This was last February. He was 15 1/2, had arthritis, kidney disease, diabetes, and had 2 (probable) strokes but was still getting around pretty well. I'm so glad have so many photos and videos of him.

My Mom passed 19 months ago. Even though I saved a few of her smaller holiday decorations I didn't have the heart to use any of them last year. This year I decided to put a few of them out. They look good in my house. I'm sure she'd be happy.
