If the gold is missing from Fort Knox it’s because Donald Trump turned it into toilets.

We had friends & allies around the world based on alliances & relationships that were built over many decades. In one month, Trump has torched them all. Now our friends are Putin, Orban, the crypto scammer in Argentina, and the guy in El Salvador offering us mercenary prisons.

CNN plays a clip of Russian state TV praising Trump for being "in total alignment" with Putin

I like that my mid-range financial decisions now include considerations like "will money be worth anything"

NEW — The National Treasury Employees Union Chapter 282 just emailed its ~8,000 employee members strongly advising them NOT to reply to the “What did you do last week?” email from OPM/Musk.

#Democrats More of this energy please. This is NOT the time to play nice. This is NOT normal. #ThisIsACoup 👇🏻

This is the ultimate dick boss move from Musk - except he isn’t even the boss, he’s just a dick.

“Digital phrenologist” is a term that merits broader usage

WSJ's analysis of the fraudulent claims about savings that DOGE is making comes to similar conclusions NPR did earlier: $2.6B v $2B of real savings. But it also notes how much of the cuts are research focused. It also notes that JUST 2% would go to DEI. www.wsj.com/politics/pol...

Run for Something had to lay off a bunch of staff over the past year. Big Democratic donors don't seem to be flocking to support them.

@marcelias.bsky.social interviews @sarahlongwell25.bsky.social this is a tremendous interview. Very thought-provoking and insightful. Keep up the fight! “Congressman Jay Obernolte spoke to a crowd that erupted in boos and chants like ‘No Kings’ Saturday morning in the community center.”

OK honest question what is the root of this? Is this just how you think on drugs?

NO KINGS is extremely effective because it’s simple, an extremely widely held belief, and gets right to the core of Trump’s assault without having to use words lots of people don’t understand

“The thing Trump and Musk value most of all is money. Their entire regime is best understood as a criminal junta whose end goal is to redirect the wealth of the nation into their own pockets. They are running a kleptocracy, and they’ve figured out that facism is actually the quickest path to riches”

I agree with @amysiskind.bsky.social they misjudged. They thought shock and awe was the best strategy and it’s jolting people awake. Had they gone slower people might not have woken up until the deed was done. Our job is to exploit their mistake and mobilize rapidly.

The heads of multiple federal agencies have told their employees not to respond to Musk’s email. Seems like Musk would’ve gotten approval for this draconian change in policy from Trump, with Cabinet officers informed in advance. But no, because this admin is in utter chaos.

Elon Musk demanding he knows what every single federal employee is working on doesn't sound very safe or efficient. DOGE is a farce.

Last night's Pentagon massacre is much more than realized. Not just firing the black CJCS and first woman CNO but all the senior JAG officers and hiring a man who just joined 3 different crypto firms tied to Kushner and Thiel as Chairman. I did a deep dive into it open.substack.com/pub/fpwellma...
