Dude, where’s my road ? In the Bois de Vincennes in Paris, they closed a road and replaced it with a wide lane for bikes and pedestrians - but not as wide as the road before, now there is a bit more green around it ;)

Before (2019) / After (2025) Rue de Meaux in the 19th arrondissement of Paris. Here, it went from four parking lanes and two traffic lanes to just one of each : on the right, everything was replaced by greenery, and the parking lane further to the left was replaced by a contraflow bike lane.

Before (2018) / After (2025) Rue des Batignolles replaced by a pedestrian plaza in front of the 17th arrondissement town hall, in Paris. The façade greening, that started in 2020, now fades behind the plaza vegetation, started in 2023. Façade greening alas often fails in Paris.
