Not only did Trump not release more water that would be useful to firefighters in LA, the water he did release was actually reserved for central valley farmers (who mostly voted for Trump) and will now go to waste instead of their farms.

Not for nothing, but Direct File by the IRS was one of the best things the USG has done in years — it allowed millions of Americans to stop paying predatory fees to TurboTax. The literal only people who oppose it are TurboTax lobbyists.

BREAKING: @wyden.senate.gov announces that Elon Musk is trying to overrule the Treasury Secretary and shut down IRS Direct File. "It's our understanding that Musk is going after that. That will be an immense burden on people who have already started to file their taxes. This is out of control!"
