Could you do something for me? Google, "usaid leader net worth" and just put up a screenshot of what the first page looks like. Because the truth of both of these was so easy to find for me that either your algorithm is wildly skewed or you're not being honest about your purpose here.
comment in response to post
Except both of those were also proven false. The whole point of this 'investigation' is he's slashing whatever he wants. There's no actual investigation happening.

Mechanicus is such a good game. A little bit broken in the later half, but every single character oozes wonderful personality and showcases the diversity of thought even within such a group as the AdMech.

The first one is 35 years old, just two years after the Land Raider was first introduced, but the second is relatively new.

It was a surprisingly successful shotgun approach. The good games would be a success and the bad games simply fall out of people's consciousness. But the important part is that every one of them makes new folks go, "Man, that was a cool setting! I wonder what else there is set in it?"

A bit of a hot take but even years later, this is still my number one game.

While I certainly feel bad for the 40k AdMech players, every time a 30k thing is brought to 40k and it's not treated as a one-off relic, it gets my blood boiling. What's the point in saying "so much was lost in 10,000 years!" when nothing was actually lost?

Of those, Betrayal Legacy and The Initiative are the only ones we continued to play after the campaign was over. All three pandemic boards were framed. The only one I'd activity not recommend would be Seafall.
comment in response to post
A ton! It was honestly the best way to keep my game group coming back, as people put more value in an ongoing story. We've played through Oathsworn, Betrayal Legacy, all three seasons of Pandemic Legacy, Ticket to Ride Legacy, The King's Dilemma, Seafall, The Initiative, and digitally, Gloomhaven.

My first look made my think your cat was leaking out of a hole in the side. Then I saw it was just a shadow.

Love it! You haven't lived until you've RP'd as a slimy power company real estate agent snatching up tech developers in Powergrid!

I will admit, I misread this at first and thought they had changed the name of the Phoenix Lord to Jennie Ruskin!

Honestly, the thing that drives me most to purchase a game is how easy it will be to convince my group to play it. Sometimes this can be as simple as it's attached to an IP they know.

Thank you, I will see if there's something like that in my area.

Does the PC version of Ark Nova count?

As someone nearing 15 years in this crazy hobby, this quickly jumped into my top 5 best shorts list.

Honest question, what is the mechanism for your cull? Do you give them away somewhere? Do you put them up on BGG Market, ebay, Facebook Marketplace? Because I find all the stuff I end up wanting to get rid of, no one wants to buy, even at 50-60% off

Yeah it's one of those things where the flashbacks in The Great Work seamlessly continue a plot thread in Wolfsbane. A lot of new folks don't realize this, read Great Work first and get shocked reading Wolfsbane going, "wait a minute, I know this event!"
comment in response to post
If you've read Wolfsbane, half of Great Work is a direct continuation of it. The other half is a direct continuation of the Scythes of the Emperor anthology. Angron is not really about Angron. It's about the World Eaters and how they do (and don't) function in M41. Still quite good.

My only prior knowledge of this came from watching The Borgias. So I'm super interested to dig into this.

I went through the pile of ~400 and made myself a separate "To Play" category of 45. The backlog I was actually interested in. Then I promised that these would be the only ones I played outside of a weekly multiplayer. Managed to get it down to 34. There's a way out but you gotta choose your battles

Mille Bornes! And from the wear on that card, it looks like it's from a 60s or 70s edition.

Only one I can think of is Feast For Odin.

It's not a reference to pure. It's a reference to puritanism, the 16th and 17th century religious group and early American settlers, who believed in excising all vice and immorality from society, famously enforcing it via events such as the Salem Witch Trials.

Oathsworn had the best writing of any campaign game I've played. After 11 months, my group ran the final encounter, fully painted, live at PAX Unplugged last year. A phenomenal experience.

3 out of 15. I can deal with that.

I believe they were a Blood Angels successor featured at the end of, "It Bleeds."

The moment it clicked for me was as soon as I unlocked telekinesis. It just felt so smooth and satisfying! Plus the second DLC scared the absolute shit out of me.

Immediate thought: Aww! Shy horsey! ^_^ Real answer: Horses often display age and sickness through the quality and shape of their teeth. Looking a gift horse in the mouth is like if someone gave you something and you said, "Why? What's wrong with it?"

Cypher was...interesting. Personally, not the strongest or most interesting of plots and whatever questions you have about Cypher, expect none of them to be answered, but it did lead me down a fascinating new idea regarding the current Cypher's origins.

Yep! Makes for a fantastic capstone to Fall of Cadia. Has a bit of a silly initial premise but if you push past that, there is some of the best character work I've seen in 40k in ages.

Welcome! Your Patreon ideas were always so great. I try to look for your influence in each HH release.

I had the same thought about The Infinite and the Divine's cover so maybe 90s CGI is a sign of quality writing these days.

Iirc there are no loss-related unlocks in the game, though just about every combination you can think of has unique dialogue.

Silly counter argument: The galaxy is significantly thinner than it is wide. When warp travel is taken into account, which tends to be along relatively stable paths, it's possible the depth of the galaxy is more fungible for ships traveling to stars on the same Z axis.

Are you from the US South or Midwest perchance? The first time I saw this comic, there seemed to be a great number of people taking it as an insult, but only folks from the South or Midwest. The original artist is from Malaysia and had no idea it could be read that way.

I remember when BL first switched the HH to its three format system. On one hand I was pissed about the change, but the first time I held that TPB version of Angel Exterminatus I was like, "Okay, I can get used to this."

Outgunned and Kingmaker are both top tier and offer very unique experiences from just about anything else Black Library is currently offering. That said, if you're itching for more Dawn of Fire, Gate of Bone does not disappoint.
