MSNBC reporter on ground in LA right now saying that from what he has seen the protestors have been peaceful but the LA Sheriff’s Dept in particular has been off the chain, quick to use tear gas and rubber bullets in an exceedingly aggressive manner

Thank you to the LAPD for radicalizing thousands of more people against them. Every time you tear gas people, a radical gets their wings. Lots of people don’t want to believe it will happen at a “peaceful” protest but it does and it will.

When cops and agents of the state hide their identity and are thugs, it's also easy for thugs to pretend to be police. The entire system of trust and the social contract is (and has been) broken. We see just one result of that in Minnesota today. You have no reason to "trust" a uniform.
