Amazing and restorative time seeing friends at Breakout, made some killer zine trades and played with some great people! Already taking notes for Breakout Bites 2026

They call it Breakout Con because it’s when I put away my winter boots and Break Out my Converse

Just put together a little zine with my Toronto food recommendations and a map of my favourite bookstores. If you're going to @breakoutcon.bsky.social this weekend say hi and I'll give you a copy! stockpotpress.itch.io/breakout-bit...

I’ve said it before, and I will say it the fuck again: Grasping Nettles is, for my money, THE best worldbuilding game. Solo, with friends, standalone or for a campaign - it hits every beat, on the beat, every time. No wasted movements. No frippery. Grasping Nettles gets it done.

This hits so hard. I see this on main street in my own city, where there are so many cool shops that open, hang on for a couple years, close, new shop opens, repeat. There are prime spaces sitting empty because it's better for the landlord to write off the loss than make the rent affordable.

UNOWN COOL S

If they’re going to accuse road safety folk of waging a war on the car, let’s actually talk about who’s operating in good faith & who isn’t. And some history. If they accuse cyclists and pedestrians of waging war, a war they should get. My column this wknd. www.thestar.com/opinion/cont...

This is, without hyperbole, one of the best written comics of the 21st century.
