I'm having an uninterrupted studio day for the first time in awhile...

More work on the drawing . . .. I usually go straight to paint with no underdrawing, but for reasons I need a substantive drawing for this project.

This chair is about Mary Mcleod Bethune. It's a collaboration between Jeff Olsen, Carol Krentzman and myself. Currently on display at the Morse Library in Natick MA

"The Course of Rivers" is at a show at the Arts Complex Museum in Duxbury MA until April 19th. The opening reception is Feb 2nd, 1-4pm. Come by if you can! On top of a great art show, the catering is always fabulous.

Oil painting on aluminum -- In addition to the bare aluminum, some areas are painted really translucently so the reflectivity of the aluminum really glows through it.

Close up from the easel... this one might be really close to done. Working title "False Dichotomies"or maybe just "Dichotomies" since the false is such a strong association with that word

This painting is sold, and heading to a new home soon. I went to write the title on the back and suddenly decided I don't like the old title . . .. What should I rename it?
