I know not all Buffy fans loved the introduction of Dawn. I still think it's one of the most gutsy moves I've seen a series make, and it depended in large part on Trachtenberg being able to convincingly play the character as if she'd always been part of the cast. RIP. variety.com/2025/film/ne...

Between the blowout and the subpar Super Bowl commercials, I would be very surprised if this game breaks last year's Super Bowl ratings record of 123.7 million. TV ratings are average viewers per minute, and a lot of people likely tuned out early tonight.
