Making progress on my Sandrock SPA. Have to consider how to fit it onto smaller screens. I work / play on a big monitor so I tend to forget about making it work on tiny screens.

Hey #100Devs, any fans of #MyTimeAtSandrock ? Currently making an SPA to quickly and easily search through items and characters so you spend more time playing and less time searching the wiki for what you need. I considered entering this into the Hackathon, but unfortunately didn't have the time.

Today I learned about Debouncing. One of my apps has a really responsive search functionality, but it comes at the cost of calling the appropriate function with every single keystroke the user makes. Apparently, it's called 'debouncing' when you tell the program to only activate after a delay.

Watched class 29 today. Wasn't expecting Leon to randomly bust out an abacus. It was also fun to reflect on how far I've come. The problems he did in this class would have stumped old me. Today me? ez #100Devs

Learned about the importance of react keys today. my #pf2e combat tracker, lacking them, could not properly track the state of the creatures. Apparently, no keys = react uses array indices as keys. Remove creature from array = creatures now have new indices & start getting each others' state data

Leon suggests, when doing a codewars problem, to work on it for 20 mins then check the answer. Overall I agree with this, but every now and then I hit a problem where the struggle is kinda fun and I'm too stubborn to jump to the answers. Anyone else? #100Devs
