It is probably more fun to use a platform where people read you than a platform where nobody reads you. Also, as a person with no followers anywhere, I can see how none of us will stay on twitter to read what those guys have to say. So, not sure who will read them regardless of follower count.

- Isn't the car in the garage? - It should be, I left it there this morning, why? It does not mean "it should be and it is not", but "it should be and there is nothing that indicates that it isn't".

Might be the first time in 5 years I defend this jackass, but it seems to me like he is saying that the plane seems to be going in a straight line, not that the plan should have taken a straight line and that isn't.
comment in response to post
Problem is not that he is crazy. Is that millions of people think he isn't.

Por que cambian esas proyecciones? Siguen haciendo encuestas o tienen en cuenta resultados parciales que estan analizando ellos por su cuenta?

Interestingly, not a single spanish race is being considered for this. Not even Itzulia with its huge fan base in the Basque Country.

We should first define what is a content creator and what is a journalist and why a journalist is not a content creator and vice versa if we want to have this debate...

He's been abusing it for years and probably was near death a few times, so, he learned how to handle it, unfortunately.

It's like people have just given up.

The find out phase will come much earlier than expected.

I don't know how many they are, but any american defense stock with large contracts in Europe is going to see their revenues falling in the next 2-3 years.
comment in response to post
If things don't change and don't blow up before, in 10 years Europe will have a comparable military to the USA. I can't see how this is good for the USA... unless the plan is to blow things up before.

What? Do you think that people in East Germany don't know this? Do you think that people in Czechoslovakia don't know this? Do you think that people in Portugal don't know this? People in fucking UKRAINE? Europeans have fought for democracy risking much more than healthcare!
comment in response to post
... sure, and that is how democracy dies. By people not willing to risk anything for their country. This is what history has told us time and time again. I am not judging even. I am just surprised, as I say. I thought democracy was more important for americans.
comment in response to post
I am not saying nobody is doing anything. I am saying that, considering the scale of the issue (destruction of democracy), what is being done is minimal and won't achieve anything. We have seen what happened in Korea a few months ago, for example. This is not happening in the USA.

To me the one that should apply is here, understanding that any rider in the pack cannot do a turn to a different road during the sprint and therefore can be considered an incident
comment in response to post
This is really unfair. If the mistake had been 300 meters earlier they would not have done the same.

I have to say that, as a European, it is unbelievable to see that, besides yelling in bluesky or whatever, nobody seems to be doing anything over there. No marches on the streets, no major protests. Such a disappointment not only from the government and Congress, but also from the civil society.

Europa tiene una situacion envidiable con un payaso al frente de Estados Unidos y una economia rusa totalmente destrozada. Solo les faltan lideres y unidad, claro.

Actually I stand corrected... the roadbook does say "take the roundabout on the left"
comment in response to post
Riders are supposed to know the course... but they knew the course!! They went through the right street!

At this rate, there won't be midterms.
comment in response to post
Did I know it? Actually, yes, but that is irrelevant. In any case, you know it now and are not doing anything about it. OK, up to you, live your life as you want, but don't come here to ask for our understanding. Enabling this guy in 2025 is not something I can understand.
comment in response to post
You have helped and continue to help this guy destroy the country and you say all is good because you can't "take the loss". Do what you want, but don't expect us to understand it.

A ver si Europa va a tener alguna oportunidad en la tercera guerra mundial…
comment in response to post
Thing is that, as things stand, if they don't change, they won't have to raise money anymore because there will not be any election... or, if there is, it will not matter.
comment in response to post
I would have loved it a bit more if they had done something when they had the power to do it.

There is an ongoing investigation since last year, I think. It is not like this is something Giro couldn't see coming.

Pero quien va a la carcel? El madrugador? Encima?
comment in response to post
Seriously, who believes this shit? How would it be possible that hundreds (at least) of illegal immigrants are being hosted in luxury resorts, full of rich people, and nobody noticed?
comment in response to post
I think that at this point it is more the corruption and believing that they will have massive contracts with the government or flat out forbid other car makers what keeps people invested in the stock.
comment in response to post
And that is assuming we believe him. This has not gone through any kind of peer review. It is just Elon saying all this.
comment in response to post
Well they can’t stop payments because somebody is Indian or Hispanic BUT they can do anything else, like targeting people based on benefits received or stuff like that.
comment in response to post
I am not sure I understand why they don't call law enforcement? Like, if this guy is an employee of something, under what authority is he blocking the entrance and, if he does not have any authority, why isn't he removed from there by the police?

Why the change? Isn't it more dangerous now?

Michel
comment in response to post
Yeah, but not in a deep state manner. He didn't bother, because why would he? He is just doing it out in the open and everyone is like...
comment in response to post
You would at least, if nothing else, the Dems to request a congressional investigation on wtf is going on. Or, well, at least, to go and talk about it and request for it to stop. From here it looks like everyone is like "mmm well what can we do?"
comment in response to post
The main interested party in NATO countries not spending enough in defense and depending on the USA is… yep.

Por más que nos guste la idea, las diferencias normativas son enormes. Ahora bien, con voluntad…

But isn't this great for Musk?
comment in response to post
The fact that there is no announced or even suggested congressional investigation on WTF they are doing here is astounding edition.cnn.com/2025/01/31/p...
