Oh and finally before I hop off for a bit! My main reason for Snivy and Piplup not being ZA starters is because their evolutions already are French themed. Legends Arceus MADE the new evos Japanese themed. So it doesn’t make sense to take starters w alrdy French themes and make them more… French(?)

I also knew there had to be some major plot or mechanical role of the plazas. In XY the plazas are completely empty except for a single obelisk in each one. My rationale here was that the hand drawn map was Kalos up to XY, the hologram is post-modern Kalos depicting the changes they want/did make.

We need to talk abt the changes they made to assist in Rivals from S0 to S1. S0 I was actually able to end matches as a tank or dps w a fair amount of assists. S1 I literally only get assists on support, Storm, Thing and the once a month I play Cap. 😭

Had a crazy fkn QP match yesterday in Rivals. Was playing the new map to get comfortable w it and we were getting utterly rolled the whole match right until the end. We somehow miraculously held off Ratotskr at the doorway of Drac’s castle for almost 3 minutes. Ended the match w them at ~98% capped.
