We need to look at these Tesla numbers (accidents, deaths) in comparison to other cars. Is the proportion of self-driving cars in fatal accidents higher or lower compared to that of say a standard Ford Bronco? Yes to strict regulations to protect the public. But let our side be the rational one.

Something I like about the Emma character in J Austin's novel by the same name, is that she sometimes has kind, generous intentions, but sometimes she's selfish and jealous of others. In other words, she's a regular person. I think books should have more of 'em.

Reading Emma, by Jane Austin. Enjoying it a lot. Not sure if I've read it before. I know I'm having flashbacks to Clueless, the movie based on Emma. Either way, it's a fun read. And being annoyed by the Emma character's intrusiveness in others' lives is part of the fun.
