I've been clear: if President Bukele doesn't want to meet here in D.C., then I intend to go to El Salvador this week to check on Kilmar Abrego Garcia's condition and discuss his release. Kilmar was illegally ABDUCTED and deported by the Trump Admin. He must be brought home NOW.

going to need to start hearing from governors what they intend to do to protect residents of their states from the federal government

Exiles fleeing communist Cuba have become a powerful force in Republican politics — but now as many as a half million recent arrivals risk deportation under Donald Trump

The EU is issuing burner phones to US-bound staff over spying fears. BIG's @luukvmiddelaar.bsky.social talking to @financialtimes.com, says “Washington is not Beijing or Moscow but an adversary prone to using extra-legal methods to further its interests & power.” www.ft.com/content/20d0...

Very smart. This admin should not be trusted. With Trump in the WH, US is now an adversary to most former allies. It’s appalling but true.

It just gets worse every day. How many Dems voted yes to help destruction of our govt to be replaced christofascists whites only- maybe a few women. J

I love my Senator - Van Hollen. So intelligent & on the side of right. I have no doubt he will do what he says.

this is the weakest an american president has ever looked on the world stage, just being proudly cucked by el salvador in an attempt to troll

When you’re acting illegally, against even your back up team the SCOTUS majority, you have to find some way out. The US get shamed every day by this weak, petulant, & corrupt 🍊🤡.

PRELOGAR PUSHBACK: The US government's top #SCOTUS lawyer under Biden, Elizabeth Prelogar, is urging law firms (& universities) to 'stand up' to the Trump administration and 'to do it together.' More: www.politico.com/newsletters/...

This seems totally obvious. The biggest law firms & universities have the power & even more power if they stand together against fascism. Now many are basically bowing down & even giving legal support. Appalling!

Because people are talking abt Hanania again, here’s my story exposing his white supremacist past - and, I would argue, present. Straight-up eugenicist who wrote for Richard Spencer. Wtf are we doing here, why are people so determined to make him respectable www.huffpost.com/entry/richar...

Trump: “Overall, I felt I was in very good shape. A good heart, a good soul — a very good soul,” Give it a rest. www.rollingstone.com/politics/pol...

Good soul? The man is soulless.

BlackPast has a comprehensive list of Black history museums across the country:

I hope it's real. hahaha

Once not an issue, the fate of the us economy, the dollar and the bond market may now wrest on Congress taking away Trump’s power to tariff. You’ve got to keep the matches away from the kid.

Things are heading south for Trump and he only has his inane tariff policy to blame. Even the MAGAsphere wonders if he has clue. - Dan Rather

Why aren't more law firms concerned that they'll lose future clients, along with talented applicants, by folding in the face of govt threats? If they won't stand up for themselves, how can anyone think they'd stand up for clients? Even if they lack ethics or integrity, that seems bad for business.

If you fill your military leadership with people who are either ignorant of the kinds of diverse literature purged here, ok with the purge, or, worse, excited by it… you are going to get a very specific kind of US military leadership and it does not resemble l the side that won the Civil War.

The Trump people claim to be fighting antisemitism, and the media often accept that framing. I believe, on the contrary, that these actions are antisemitic in intention and in execution. I explain in a short video: snyder.substack.com/p/fomenting-...

After Donald Trump rescinded on most of his tariffs, the market rebounded. The next day it fell, when the reality of the conflict with China set in. Benjamin Wallace-Wells unpacks the danger of the President’s posturing.

Too bad we can’t read it. Yes, Trump’s ignorance has destroyed an enormous amount of wealth - not just the rich. They will rebound. How about those smaller investors? You get workers counting on 401ks. But, Trump is in your side? This is what voting for a convicted crook has got his voters.

The great Volodymyr Yermolenko and his UkraineWorld project are very worthy of support. Here we are launching my freedom book, underground, in Kharkiv last September. @ukraineworld.bsky.social ukraineworld.org/en/podcasts/...

Yes. Trump & those adjacent are always innocent - it’s always “those people”: Dems, Biden, HRC, etc. millions fall for Trump 🐂 💩. The Presidency: the ultimate grift opportunity for Trump.
