Been disassociating pretty hard lately. wake up, read HCR, doom scroll, and then avoid all social media for the rest of the day. I write stories about the character I’m playing in a VTM game, and I’m so excited to get out of my head, that I am literally counting the moments until we play again.

Yesterday’s #toddlerdrama brought to you by “I hate all my pants”, and “socks are stupid!” Being told she had to wear said hated pants and stupid socks led to the declaration “I hate everything!” Girl, I get that I totally do! Both in the pants department and the hating vast amounts of the world.

It’s sad to see people who look so normal and speak of love and all the right things who then… cheer the wrong things. How do they not notice the dichotomy they’re living??!? How does it not make their head and heart implode by the impossibility of holding two opposite things at the same time?!

#vetlife excited to end 50hr work weeks as coworker finally back from medical leave after shoulder surgery. Two hours in to shift she gets bit in the face and has to go to the ER. I now have two fully booked Dr schedules to run as one doc. Thank goodness for awesome support staff. (She’s okay!)

#captainamerica I know some don’t like the movie. I know some say the politics blah blah. Some talk about the minor characters that were supposed to be more, and major characters that they felt underwhelmed by. But I enjoyed a nice romp in the MCU. It made me happy.

#vetlife The only dick pick I’ve ever taken is after I neutered a simply ginormous feral tomcat that we jokingly called “Meat-Head” (cuz his head was just that big and meaty - if you’ve ever seen an adult tom cat they’re aaaaaallllll cheek) I promptly sent it to my husband.
