what I like about posts like this is that they're simultaneously a) extremely good points that too many people on the American right have never thought about (how did you think you got those western states exactly?), and b) probably a sign people have forgotten that Mexico was a coloniser *too*

Ash Sarkar accepted a place at Cambridge so that she could performatively turn it down, and because Cambridge doesn't do clearing that meant that the place stayed vacant. She deliverately deprived another young person of a Cambridge education in order to feel superior. That is all you need to know.
