The price of eggs locally in northern California appears to have hit nine dollars a dozen as was rum while we were travelling. and yet Costco had 24 eggs for 750 today. Reminds me of the toilet paper crisis where supplies were limited and prices skyrocketed and then return more to normal.

Wondering why ocean water is not used in firefighting efforts close to the water, when other Water is not available. I know there are environmental concerns but it seems that the emissions caused by burning buildings would be worse. The soil will need to be treated anyway. Thoughts?
