Right Now, most of the American can relate to this message from the 90's.

I’ve struggled to understand Trump’s ability to accrue and maintain power - it often doesn't make any sense. But I've found Robert Greene’s book “The 48 Laws of Power” to be a helpful tool to explain why what he does works, and how to see through the spectacle. jdvogt.substack.com/p/donald-tru...

Everything Trump does can be explained as a personal effort to accrue money or power. Tariffs are appealing to him because he gets to coerce others. Coercion is one of his favorite methodologies - he loves folks kissing the ring. There is no economic plan, just a play to compel loyalty.
