In the 13th race of the 17 race season, Michael Schumacher wins his 4th title at the 2001 Hungarian GP, while also equaling Alain Prost’s 51 wins & securing Ferrari’s Constructors’ crown thanks to Barrichello’s P2 finish! A dominant season, a legend at his peak. #F1

Heinz-Harald Frentzen's departure from Jordan was both sudden and controversial. On July 25, 2001 just days before his home race at the German GP, he was replaced by Ricardo Zonta. From the next race onwards, Jean Alesi took over the seat for the rest of the season, leaving the Prost team. #F1

A rare sight to be hold Alonso lost his tire at the 2001 British GP but luckily for him it happened right before the pit entrance. 😅 He managed to finish the race, which Häkkinen won after months without a victory. #F1

Chaos at the start of the 2000 Italian GP at Monza. Frentzen, Barrichello, Coulthard, De La Rosa, and Verstappen were all involved. Tragically a flying wheel struck firefighter Paolo Gislimberti, who lost his life. The FIA and several F1 teams contributed financially to help his family. R.I.P. 😔 #F1

One of the most bizarre moments of the 2000 F1 season was at the German Grand Prix when a disgruntled ex-Mercedes employee ran onto the track in the middle of the race. He casually strolled down Hockenheim’s long straight, forcing a safety car and completely shaking up the race. #F1

Barrichello won his first race at Hockenheim in 2000, starting 18th. He gambled on dry tires despite late rain, skillfully handling the still wet corners and speeding through the dry sections. It was one of the most emotional race wins ever. #F1

One of the cruelest moments in F1 history. On the last lap of the 2001 Spanish GP Hakkinen's car had an engine failure. No wonder Michael Schumacher felt rather embarrassed because even he knew he had no right to win that GP. Mika had outclassed everyone only for his McLaren to cry enough. #F1
