32 years ago, in 1993, a 32-bit compiler was an enormous leap for developers building on WinNT 3.1. One of the first validation tests I wrote was a quick sanity check that (sizeof(int) == 4). Still a bizarrely vivid memory. Looking forward to catching up with the team this spring.

Great idea found in a recent Joey's Hoard post about ditching algorithms: joeyehand.com/blog/2025/01... Instead of wallowing in YouTube's engagement algorithm, add subscribed channels to an RSS reader for a simple, chronological view. Found via @makoism.com's Espresso Shots. Thanks to both of them.
