That’s right

Looking forward to reading this.

The only thing deeper is their need for attention.

Hey, remember when Trump told a room of Big Oil CEOs he'd make all their wildest dreams of climate denial come true...for $1B in campaign cash? Now the White House war on the environment is the Trump corruption scandal we don't talk about nearly enough My new column www.inquirer.com/opinion/trum...

Best friends forever.

@drkristin4wi.bsky.social Seen today over on the other channel.

Be suspicious of anyone who tells you this is just a distraction. The best chance we have for survival might be for these two lunatics to self-destruct so spectacularly they cease to function and can’t do any evil shit until the midterms.

One of my all-time Kreindler favorites, along with his paintings of Dick Allen and Roberto Clemente in the sun, and Clemente making a tough catch at Milwaukee County Stadium.

Today’s Trump-Musk tirades aren’t boosting the argument that women are too emotional for politics.

Trump is losing in the courts. He's fighting publicly with Musk. His “big beautiful bill” has stalled. Trump is now left only with his vindictive rage. And of course his money-making schemes to line his pockets. He's likely to become even more unhinged — be warned.

"In Wisconsin, maternal mortality rates are 2.5 times higher for Black women than white women. Maternal morbidities — or serious birth complications — were the highest among Black women and people enrolled in BadgerCare, the state’s largest Medicaid program."

Well this couldn’t have come at a better time www.bbc.com/news/article...

But of course.

None of this is OK.

Watching Trump and Elon fall out is like watching two thieves argue over who got caught on camera. Newsflash: it was both of y’all.

If your ass hadn't already surmised that the Walking Circus Peanut is in the Epstein Files, then you are a shitty as hell surmiser.

This is not OK.

Look beyond Trump and Musk's public blowout to the bigger problem: the infiltration of Big Money in our politics. It has corrupted our democracy — creating a vicious cycle that funnels more wealth and power to those at the top while drowning out the needs of regular Americans.

To add to everyone's enjoyment of this SPECTACULAR day, I'll note this: Having to deal with a bazillionaire maniac who only cares about himself is a full-on political crisis for the GOP. Musk can wreck A LOT of things. He can dramatically hamper Trump's agenda. This is a cataclysmic problem.

And thus, the actual story beyond the X insanity today.

PSA: Do not let the Musk & Trump feud distract you from the fact that both want to rob us of basic healthcare, civil rights, & economic security—all while lining the pockets of billionaires. This childish feud is a distraction. Stay focused on ensuring we stop this horrific bill from becoming law.

Forgive me if this strikes me as 100% horseshit playacting for the rubes in MAGA and our spectacularly gullible press.

must be incredibly frustrating and disheartening to have federal funding that was promised to you for important work suddenly and arbitrarily ripped away

"I was this pedophile's biggest supporter until he was personally mean to me" seems like a bit of an own goal.

Citizens United is among the worst decisions in Supreme Court history. It's allowed billionaires to completely take over our politics and destroy our democracy. There are days when we are reminded just how pernicious that ruling was. Today is one of those days.

MUSK/TRUMP NUCLEAR BREAKUP: Seeing two former best buddies turn on each other is never easy, though in this case it's objectively hilarious. Apparently prayer works. My column, which I'm having to update every 5 seconds: www.usatoday.com/story/opinio...

Listen, all I’m saying is that we’ve seen more pictures of Donald Trump and Jeffrey Epstein together than we have of Donald Trump and his son Barron.

The boys are fighting… so WIRED spoke to insiders about what's *actually happening* between Donald Trump, Elon Musk, and that Big Beautiful Bill. “If [Musk] actually successfully gets any votes switched to tank this bill and kills it, then I think at that point [Trump] is fucked.”

The scary part of today's news is that people actually believe that D-Day ended the War in Europe. D-Day began the year-long process that eventually ended the War. From June 1944 to March '45, there was heavy fighting, and the Allies didn't enter Germany until March 22, 1945. VE day was May 8, 1945.

"all this batshittery is ludicrous, but it serves a purpose. it functions as a distraction, meant to take the public’s eye off the ‘big beautiful bill’ that guts Medicaid in order to hand our oligarch overlords another round of extravagant tax cuts." Stay focused.

Solid history thread.

No. Absolutely not. He's a nazi. He smashed the federal government and stole our data. He put USAID and USIP in a wood chipper, leaving hundreds of thousands of children to die. He's not welcome in any party I belong to. www.politico.com/newsletters/...

I don't golf (a grateful nation rejoices), but I will read anything Elizabeth Nelson @paranoiacs.bsky.social writes.

Joan Jett is not down with what's going on in America, either.

This PA announcer approves of all these calls.

Every Republican is in a near-constant competition to out-awful all the other Republicans.

Here’s a rare member of the U.S. Senate who seems to understand how close we are to a dictatorship.

Trump is screwing around with consumer price data collection just as his tariffs start to push up prices. Which is exactly what a dictator would do.

It's important to challenge this in the courts. It's also important to understand that Trump engages in performative behavior when he wants you to ignore something else he's doing. Don't look away.

Good evening from historic Joannes Park. Watching the Green Bay Blue Ribbons in their season opener against Manitowoc.

The Edmonton Oilers chase redemption and Canada’s 1st Stanley Cup since ’93. With Trump-era tensions fueling nationalism, many are rallying behind hockey—and oil—as symbols of pride. Scholars of religion and sports explain: buff.ly/TewC1II #NHL 🍁

More than 2,200 people. A number that would make up a small town anywhere in America. This is not OK.

"banishing gayness from the military aligns with Kegstand’s toxic insistence that only straight white males can prevail in battle. ... by the way, anyone who thinks that gay sailors can’t fight has never been in a bar in Manhattan’s meatpacking district at two o’clock in the morning, just saying."
