I co-own a small board game publishing company. Like, very small. We are two people who just run Kickstarter campaigns on the side of our day jobs. Our last game did well though, and we've got a couple thousand copies on a boat coming from China right now. So, I'm a little worried about that.

So I’m a bit late to playing it. But Metaphor ReFantazio is fantastic (I’m about 5hrs in so far, heard it doesn’t even get good until after 6 hours😂) Anyone else enjoying this one?

Who will I see at Orca Con this weekend? @rf-seattle.bsky.social shared this photo with me from last years Orca Con (I’m on the right) Excited to get back to conventions this year after taking most the year off due to having a newborn 👨🏻‍🍼

Woo! Just finished up end of year bookkeeping for Jellyfish Game Studios! (Wasn’t that much to do since things have been real slow since having our first baby in April) While it wasn’t our highest revenue year, it was our most profitable due to lest expenses due to not doing much😂

I never posted up Crop Circle Champions on my portfolio! There's some extra concept sketches too.

Submissions for the @cardboardedison.com award competition are now open! This can be a great launchpad for publication, but you will also get feedback from an all-star roster of judges.

So started this year out strong, in April (when our first baby was born) playing board games dropped off an absolute cliff. And as is about 75% of these plays were played digital😅 Really hoping to get more in person gaming in 2025. How did your year of gaming look?

2024 was a great year for me in board games. I started designing again after 3+ years! I designed or co-designed 3 games. 1 signed, 1 with multiple prospects, 1 still shopping around. I also did development work for Flatout Games working on 5 different titles this year! Thread with details:

Self-publishing your own board games isn’t as hard as you might think. Follow this starter pack I made for board game designers who have successfully published their own games. go.bsky.app/SwcURtv

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays! 🎄 Anyone get anything good today? I got a copy of Tabriz by the spiel des jahres award winning greatest designer I know @rf-seattle.bsky.social
