Getting Started

"Musk is so rich he would never need to take our money." I've missed hearing about the Forbes top wealthy who lost their wealth from charity or actually paying fair taxes. Bill gates is still a billionaire and jk Rowling is still a multi-millionaire. Anyone have examples?

Trim the fat they say. Businesses that trimmed that fat now have 3 hr customer services waiting times...have self-check out registers... Have minimum staffing. Bet y'all complained about that. Now apply that to any government service you use (and it's probably more than you think)

I remember playing coed soccer all through elementary... EVERYONE should be able to play recreational leagues--like at the most basic level couldn't we at least agree there?

I grew up in a time when rednecks and cowboys didn't trust the government Republicans or otherwise--and took pride in that. We could do with a little more that, please.

I've started matching my Trump boomer dad's energy: vaguely antagonistic emails decrying (his) political policies. Strangely he sends words of comfort but doesn't doubt the policies. The nicest he's ever been while the country falls to corruption.

When people blame democrats for not doing *enough* they're shifting blame from deserving Republicans. Unite against the true enemies of democracy: oligarchs and sycophants.
