Pure fantasy. Train 7.5m workers to do actual jobs we know we will need by 2030. There are a lot of them.

Announcing: Mandrake! You play the last of the Mandrakes, a sorcerous line of gardeners. Horticulture is a cursed practice... except to you. Your family line is steeped in the green and growing arts, so you’re able to grow such marvels as: runner beans! Cherry trees! The humble turnip! 🌳

Quantum Kickflip is charming, expertly-produced, stunningly scored, and its new season playtests stuff from the upcoming #slugblaster expansion. BUT It also demonstrates a fascinating TTRPG phenomenon that I'm only just beginning to understand. 1/

Extremely this.

What boggles me the most about people using LLMs to brainstorm or write stories is that they're skipping the fun part of the process. That's the good stuff! I see something amazing in my mind that's unlike anything anyone else sees & I craft it using words my unique lived experience has taught me

Anxiety is absolutely destroying my poor hands. I clench when I’m asleep AND awake. Just constant strain on my knuckles. Anyone else experienced this? Any tips?

Sketchbook Games is hiring a Technical Level/Game Designer to help implement mechanics, levels and hook up narrative sequences of gameplay for their new project. 📍 Remote, Freelance (UK) ⚖️ Flexible hours 🎮 Made in Unreal Engine ⤵️

Channeling my inner livejournal-blogging teenager for a solo run of Slugblaster. Quickly rocketing up my to-play list for my home game!

Is this a dagger which I see before me [Press R1 for LIGHT ATTACK], The handle toward my hand [Press R2 for HEAVY ATTACK]? Come, let me clutch thee [Hold R2 for CHARGE ATTACK]. I have thee not, and yet I see thee still [Press L1 + R2 for PHANTOM ATTACK (expends Ghost Power)].

they left... the fucking prompt they used.... to make their fake book... in the final draft.......

Implementing a 'play one to buy one' policy for TTRPGs is really helping me sample the full gamut of incredible games out there. Finally got to play some Call of Cthulhu on Monday and now have to decide between grabbing Slugblaster or Daggerheart (or one of the other 15 games on my To Buy list 😭).

Spent this afternoon at a coffee shop and decided to do my first 3-point perspective drawing. Took so long to get my head around it but it was super fun by the end. Really happy with how it turned out.

Stop calling A.I. slop “art” and real human-created works “content”

A fantastic fight down a tightening path coiled around a pit of lava. Miraculously no one fell in…

Jumping from Lorelei and the Laser Eyes straight into Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is such an embarrassment of riches. Truly, two top-tier games that excel in everything they set out to do. Might fuck about and replay Edith Finch for the trifecta.

applying for jobs again

💀💀💀 "A philosophy professor across the country at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock caught students in her Ethics and Technology class using AI to respond to the prompt 'Briefly introduce yourself and say what you’re hoping to get out of this class.'"

This was such an impactful 90 minutes. There were actual tears. Had to spend the rest of Sunday recovering but it was well worth it! Thank you @fkth.bsky.social, @jemalexander.bsky.social, and @chriswilsonart.bsky.social for braving our collective teenage angst with me!

This was so good! 🤩 I had an amazing time with Fiona, @chriswilsonart.bsky.social and @clairepurcell.bsky.social. Was not prepared for how intense this experience was going to be. A+++ would miss Alice again.

Used these studies to help me paint a dnd prop. My Goblin Artificer Theo's Spellbook :)

I sure gave this a good solid backing.

Very sad to be nearing the end of Lorelei and the Laser Eyes. I’m astonished by the way this game keeps unwrapping new layers. And those debugging puzzles! 🤩

Incredible.

Absolutely thrilled that Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is reviewing so well. Had my eye on it since its reveal and I can't wait to jump in. 🥲
