I've already shared about story ideas - for example this is how it works. I'm in the kitchen washing the dishes. Hubby picks up his guitar and plays a few chords. A whole series idea unfolds in my head. Agatha Christie said washing the dishes was good for thinking. I'm not going to argue with her.

I write romance so my books are going to end with a Happily Ever After. How that happens can depend on the story. If I end the book after an event. I might add an epilogue to show the couple established and/or to tie up something I couldn't do within the confines of the story. #pretendpanel

I like to start my books in the middle of some action. To transport the reader straight into the story. Then I can fill in the who, where, why, and when round the action and build the story. Sometimes it might be some dialogue. I've also started a book with the F word.
