Editing and refining creative work can be tough with ADHD (due to focus shifting) or autism (difficulty deviating from the initial vision). Then there are those of us with both. Find your process and use it. This isn't a source or place for shame. Your neurotype is just as valid as any other.

Hi so I've started a GoFundMe to try and raise some money to relocate. I'd be grateful for any help you can send my way! Thank you and much love. gofund.me/ed22993e

The intense passion derived from focused interests is a powerful fuel for authentic and engaging performance. And it's ridiculously useful in improv and script writing, too. #autism #ADHD #neurodivergent

Happy 16th (est) to this fine girl, Tig. I didn't think we'd make it here, but we did! She is tough as nails facing what she does every day with her ailments. But look at her! #bestdog #dogsky

Accepting neurodivergence isn't just about tolerance. It's about recognizing the inherent value and creative strengths that come with the wiring a human was born with.

This is good. Def worth a listen. techcrunch.com/2025/04/14/s...

The beauty of neurodivergent creativity often lies in the unexpected connections made between seemingly disparate concepts. DEFINITELY a useful thing to have for improv. Though sometimes your connection might remain a mystery for others. That's okay. IYKYK.

Managing time blindness (common experience with ADHD) during creative sessions or rehearsals requires external tools and compassionate planning. #neurodivergence #adhd

I watched the Documentary #InsideOurAutisticMinds and I couldn't be happier living in this era. I really recommend this. It shows different autistic experiences, with and without autonomy. I missed some hyposensitive autistic, but is still amazing. Go watch it! www.youtube.com/watch?v=KaCD...

Merging neurodivergence + creativity reveals there are infinite ways to communicate, perform, and connect beyond neurotypical expectations. Let's do this thing and be US for once!

Many performance groups and styles worldwide have celebrated neurodivergent ways of processing and expressing. This isn't new. It might just have a new name and more recognition. Something like that!

Finding collaborators who understand neurodivergent communication styles can unlock creativity. And access. Aim for clarity over making assumptions.

Brilliant video.

Beware and warn the others

A great move! It's time to get rid of the hate filled lying, misinformation platform. The rest of Canada should follow Halifax! #NeverX #CanadaStrong #CanadaForever

Poilievre is, a 9 year old in a man's body. He has always been the clown in the HOC, always insulting and spinning around like a child. YOU ARE NOT BETTING ON A HOCKEY GAME Canadians. This is SERIOUS

adobe deleted their post so this one's for posterity

The conversation about losing access to ADHD meds, and the real dangers that poses, can also include the lack of access many have to diagnosis in the first place.

Poilievre will never be Prime Ministerial. Bragging about his Klan rallies and hurling cheap insults simply isn’t part of the job. #cdnpoli #NeverVoteConservative #Carney4Canada

Check out the latest ep of Unfuck Your Life: An Audio Drama. In this one Tog grapples with a bunch of feedback and criticism of The Grackleton Gazette, their new zine.  Starring Adam, Don Faucet, and Jen deHaan.  Get it where you get #podcasts, or https://stereoforest.com/UYL #audiodramas

Creative collaboration thrives when we recognize different processing styles as complementary strengths rather than deficits. Different neurotypes are valid. But it takes work to get there (as most things do!)

Performance isn't just stage & screen. It's navigating meetings, presentations, even social gatherings. ND folks often develop unique strategies. Masking is real. It's exhausting, it can be disabling, but the reality is often this: sometimes we are forced to do this to survive. #neurodivergence

Sensory processing differences can be a challenge. It can also be an asset. It depends on context and adaptive measures. Ask questions, try things, and see where you can benefit (and of course, where you can improve). This goes for those without sensory challenges, too. Support teammates & students!

Just because you know one immunocompromised person who doesn’t take precautions, doesn’t mean they’re right It means that that particular immunocompromised person: - is uninformed about COVID - and/or has been heavily influenced by mainstream media / internalized & lateral ableism / peer pressure

Traditional rehearsals might not always work for some neurodivergent performers. Adaptive learning approaches might do better. Options, flexibility, and open minds can unlock potential and make your shows even better. Ask questions. Try new things.
