Is anyone else still locked out of their office accounts after the ms issue yesterday? I can't get into mine at all

Since lockdown I've been doing 'virtual visits', zooming into schools across the UK and around the world to share my skills. Today, I'm working with a school up in Leeds. 👍 I'll make anything you want, with any age group. 🤩 If your school would be interested, get in touch. 😁 #edusky #art

My 8o is fascinated by Ancient Egyptian mythology and has been reading @louiestowell.bsky.social's Loki books. This has all combined together and now Evie wants to write a Loki-style book about Seth. Last night Evie designed the characters in the style of the Loki books.

Just finished Scuttler's Cove and loved it as much as I loved Withered Hill! Can't wait for the next folk horror by David Barnett.

This is 43.

Blasting music in the office to get me pumped up for live streaming author sessions to thousands of children across Liverpool. Paddling like a duck under the water. Let's hope I glide like a swan above!

Have you heard about the UKLA Our Class Loves This Book Award? Working with the books that were shortlisted for the UKLA Book Awards the previous year, this award is a great way to get your students engaged in creative responses to texts. Apply now!

I'm feeling inspired by all the amazing posts about the #ReadingRights summit. Thank you @frankcottrellboyce.bsky.social & @booktrust.bsky.social for championing children's reading - EVERY SINGLE CHILD CAN BE A READER, and should have access to all the lifelong, life-changing benefits of literacy!

Fantastic to hear! @llpartnership.bsky.social delivered Read To Bump training about reading in utero to health and social care professionals across all Merseyside authorities as part of a project funded by Merseyside Violence Reduction Partnership.

I'm probably going to say this every week as a new episode goes live but seriously Chef and My Fridge is bonkers but brilliant! Definitely worth watching on Netflix

Absolute bargain found in a charity shop for £1 at the weekend. Brand new. None of the activities have been done. Gave it to my 8yo who is absolutely loving it- has already designed a character and is now making a map.

Convinced that Dressed Crab is Gregory Porter #MaskedSingerUK

Snail- maybe Andrea Corr? #Maskedsinger

No clue on Teeth but I'm absolutely convinced Kingfisher is Simon Farnaby #maskedSinger #MaskedSingerUK

I think Dressed Crab is Gregory Porter #MaskedSinger

Absolutely loved Withered Hill by David Barnett. It's a folk horror that I'm going to be thinking about for some time.

Happy new year! RP to win a copy of 'Beyond the Secret Garden' by Darren Chetty & Karen Sands O’Connor. Trace how Black & racially minoritised characters have been represented in ‘the secret garden’ of British children’s literature from its earliest stages.

After loving Culinary Class Wars, I am so happy to have an episode of Chef and My Fridge to watch every week until April. It's totally bonkers but I love it. I really want to try all of the food!

CW for sexual abuse, assault and coercion. This is an upsetting and difficult read so be careful. Important to know though. Especially for teachers as The Graveyard Book, Coraline etc are often read in schools.

Husband isn't feeling too well so has gone to bed. I was going to put a film on but I'm now watching Rod Stewart Night on BBC2 and remembering my dad

Bear- Doc Brown Toad- Macy Gray

Loving the folk horror vibes on #TheTraitors

Nope. Creepy clowns are not for me. #TheTraitors

This game is very Alice in Borderland #TheTraitors

Well, that was deeply annoying #MaskedSingerUK

My #MaskedSingerUK guesses Teeth- Tom Daley Snail- not a clue Tattoo- Paloma Faith Kingfisher- Simon Farnaby or Harry Hill Dressed Crab- Gregory Porter Spag Bol- Jenny Eclair

Watching Teen Titans Go! To The Movies. Watching them put pearls on Martha Wayne then pushing her and Batman's dad into Crime Alley then Robin giving a thumbs up is both brutal and hilarious.

Squid Game season 2 episode 1 was everything I wanted it to be! Brilliant TV! #SquidGame
