CBS just played Noem’s commercial about deporting people. I turned it off. Done watching CBS now.

Protest in Petoskey, Michigan today. I’m so happy to see this in such a red area I’m actually emotional.

@indivisibleggr.bsky.social What bridge are we at tomorrow? I was sick and I’m out of schedule. I quit FB a long time ago so I can’t check. 😅

I have been very sick lately and the doctor thought it was Strep throat. So I swabbed myself. The colonies were indeed beta hemolytic, but I’m a Staph carrier (1/4 of us are) so I tested for catalase. It was catalase negative which indicates Streptococcus not Staphylococcus.

I asked ChatGPT to make Perle a person. Told it she was a sweet, easygoing, older lady who is always up for anything. Why does the person remind me of my mom?!

First day in Hawaii and I’m SUPER sick, but we weren’t going to miss the chance to make our voices heard. #HandsOff Hilo, Hawaii

Over 600 local events with many more being added every day. In all 50 states and DC, we will demand an end to the most brazen power grab in modern history. We hope to see you in the streets on April 5: handsoff2025.com/?SQ...

Another great bridge demonstration! Every time the crowd gets bigger!

And just like that, it’s the last time I’ll teach immunology. Packed up all my vaccine boxes I use for teaching and all my activities for this unit today.

The incubator smells like grapes. #IYKYK #Pseudomonasaeruginosa

I would think she is so scared right now. ❤️‍🩹

Indivisible 7 FB page will be streaming the town hall for Tom Barrett live at 2:00 EST.

Remember when I got in trouble for putting a flag in my window at the condo? Welp! No rules against wreaths!

I turned the ribbons into custom bracelets. (I bought the bracelets for this.) Now I’ll have a reminder of this very treasured gift. I’m so proud to wear them this week.

A student brought me candies her mom brought from Ukraine to thank me for showing support. She said I was the only professor. I sobbed. She gifted me precious limited candy her mom brought back.

This is why I donate to Hachiko. Because helping animals means helping people too. Imagine fleeing and having to leave your fur baby. At least people can know they’re cared for. And the people that stayed get help and the benefit of being able to help the pets.

Last time doing the GNB Unknowns. This was so much work for me to do for them… but I won’t miss the grading! I don’t think unknowns projects serve non majors in their careers. I designed the report to test critical thinking, but it’s the best I can do.

I ended up buying it. They put the back labels sticker over top of the printed gold front label!

Spotted at the corner of Kalamazoo and 28th St. I love seeing these little acts of resistance.

Shop void at our local ChowHound.

I went to the bridge takeover Friday but I didn’t park in the right spot and ended up spending the whole time driving around downtown GR trying to find a new spot. Gave up and went home really defeated because I had cleared the whole day for that one thing.

This one too!

Made the news today. Proud of myself. I’m at the last B-roll before the talking heads start again. www.wzzm13.com

Thank you Charlie for posting about this demonstration and for getting these pictures of me.

It also me. 🙃

It me. 🙂

Just the random stuff in the back of my car; a sassy politicial tshirt, a very old protest sign, my Unit 3 microbiology teach stuff, and my bag of iClickers. Pretty clear what my priorities are. 😁
