Pouring some coffee to start another day of grading. I swear this would take half the time if I could just read and give feedback on their legal writing without also scoring it and determining a grade.

The pace of Civ Pro is so uneven. In the beginning of the semester, we spend a whole class period questioning a single jurisdictional concept, and then the gears switch and we cover multiple federal rules in one 75-minute class period. Teaching pleading amendments tomorrow, and there is a lot there.
